TEEN PROGRAM
DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSROOM THEORY :
This course is available throughout the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We offer a state-approved online class which is available 24/7 from the convenience of your own computer. Students can start the program, save their work, and go back as often as they need to finish it. Classroom topics include basic driving techniques, defensive driving skills, rules of the road, alcohol & driving, and driving in adverse weather conditions. A learner's permit is not needed for the theory course. Once the student completes the course, they will receive a certificate of completion from the third party vendor who administrates the site.

The student will take their lessons in a dual-controlled training vehicle. Lessons cover in-car skills including basic driving maneuvers, highway driving, parallel parking, defensive driving skills, and test preparation.
INSURANCE DISCOUNT
When students complete the 6 hours course (divided into four 1.5 hour lessons OR three 2-hour lessons), we can issue a certificate of completion for the driving portion. Both the online course (provided by a third party vendor) and the driving lessons certificates can be submitted to your insurance company for a potential driver education discount (10% to 20% a year usually up until the age of 21). Please check with your insurance company.
PAYMENT OPTION
If you pay with a check, it will take 5 weeks to clear. If you need your certificate of completion sooner after completing 6 hours of lessons, you must pay for the full amount of the lessons in advance or pay with either cash or credit card. If you pay with cash, the instructor will provide a receipt. For credit card payments there will be a 3.5% processing fee. Please make checks out to Rogers Driving School and hand it to the instructor at the time of the lesson.
Note: Once you submit the certificate to your insurance company you will get the full driver education discount (if offered) since the company goes by the date of completion on the certificate, not by when they receive it.
